Pioneers Take The Arrows… Part II
Just an update to an earlier post on being an early adopter of technology. The specific example I used was our Pillar Axiom 500 system. Pillar has gone back to the engineering team and has come up with a game plan to replace all fiber cables and FCIMs to eliminate them as the problem. Pillar is doing so on their dime next weekend.
When you are a vendor selling a new technology, you need to go beyond what the established vendors would be willing to do, to make things right. Pillar seems to be on the right track. I’ll update everyone with a post after the work is completed.
